Academic Search Complete is a cross disciplinary database covering general humanities, social sciences, business, and current events. This is one of the most comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. African American Historical Serials Collection developed in conjunction with American Theological Library Association (Atla) as an effort to preserve endangered serials related to African American religious life and culture, features more than 170 unique publications spanning from 1829 through 1922. This collection includes periodicals, newspapers and magazines, in addition to reports and annuals from various African American organizations, including churches and educational and service institutions. APA PsychInfo is the world's largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health. Produced by the American Psychological Association, it is an indispensable tool for the discovery of global scholarly research. Child Development and Adolescent Studies produced by NISC, is today’s source for references to the current and historical literature related to growth and development of children through the age of 21. Book reviews and abstracts from hundreds of journals and a bibliography of thousands of technical reports, books, book chapters, theses and dissertations covering biomedical and social sciences worldwide are indexed. CINAHL With Full Text provides comprehensive indexing of the nursing and allied health journal literature. It includes indexing for over 5,000 journals, including publications in nursing and allied health, consumer health, alternative/complementary medicine, biomedicine, and health sciences librarianship. It also includes citations for health care books, book chapters, nursing dissertations, conference proceedings, standards of practice, audiovisual materials, and publications of the American Nurses Association and the National League for Nursing. In addition to this indexing, CINAHL with Full Text includes the full text of over 300 journals, legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, research instruments, and clinical trials. The database also offers cited references searching, an image collection, and Pre-CINAHL citations, which are brief citations for new journal articles that have not yet been assigned subject headings. CINAHL is the electronic continuation of the print publication Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. 1963-present; full text from 1981-present. Digital Karl Barth Library - Included in the collection are the English translation of Barth's magnum opus, The Church Dogmatics, in its entirety. The original German version, Die kirchliche Dogmatik, is also included as are the first 45 volumes of Barth's Gesamtausgabe, which includes hundreds of letters, sermons, lectures, conversations, and academic writings. These volumes are supplemented by seven additional German works that have not yet been published as part of the Gesamtausgabe and English translations of thirteen important texts by Barth. With 7315 online entries, it is an essential resource for scholars in Biblical, Cultural, and Religious Studies and related fields. Brought to us by De Gruyter. Evangelism in Africa: Correspondence of the Board of Foreign Missions, 1835-1910. This collection contains records of the Board of Foreign Missions (BFM) of the Presbyterian Church which comment on social conditions in developing nations and on efforts to spread the gospel during the nineteenth century. The majority of the material in this collection consists of incoming correspondence from the mission field and outgoing correspondence from the Board headquarters. Other primary sources include diary accounts, sermon manuscripts, receipts of sale, and field accounts. This is a Gale Archives Unbound collection.

Evangelism in India: Correspondence of the Board of Foreign Missions, 1833-1910. This collection documents the Board of Foreign Missions’ tripartite ministry (Farukhabad, Punjab, and the West Indian missions) in India. Documents include recorded reactions to foreigners generally and Protestant missionaries specifically, discontent with British rule and the development of the Independence movement, and racial and internecine religious warfare between Hindu and Muslim populations. This is a Gale Archives Unbound collection.

Evangelism and the Syria-Lebanon Mission: Correspondence of the Board of Foreign Missions, 1869-1910. The records of the Board of Foreign Missions document social conditions in Greater Syria and Lebanon as well as efforts to spread the gospel during the nineteenth century. The majority of the records in this collection consist of incoming correspondence from the mission field and outgoing correspondence from the Board headquarters. The work documented here was conducted through four main stations: Beirut, occupied in 1823; Tripoli, opened in 1848; Sidon, occupied in 1851; and Aleppo, in 1920. Global Missions and Theology - By reproducing personal narratives, organizational records, and biographies of leaders, missionaries, and churches, this collection documents the broad range of Nineteenth Century religious missionary activities, practices and thought in the United States. Included are materials on missionary activities among Native Americans and African Americans. In addition, it highlights activities in distant regions and countries, such as Africa, Fiji and Sandwich Islands, India, China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Hawaii. This is a Gale Archives Unbound collection.
 
Grassroots Civil Rights and SocialAction: Council for Social Action was established by the Congregational Christian Churches in 1934; the Council for Social Action sought to focus and organize concern for service, international relations, citizenship, Japanese-Americans, rural life, and legislative, industrial and cultural relations. The records in this collection trace the work of the Council for Social Action, and is sourced from the Congregational Library in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to the journals in the Religion and Theology collection (title list forthcoming here), we can access more than 6,500 Open Access ebooks from 90 publishers, including Brill, Cornell University Press, De Gruyter, and University of California Press (title list here). IMPORTANT NOTE: As with all our subscription research databases, you will need to log in if you are off campus.
