Book Hub, contact less book borrowing service for LPTS students, faculty and employees only, starts Nov. 2. Besides book borrowing, you can also request scanning. Details follow.
Book Hub: Contact less Book Borrowing
Start Date: 11/2/20
Eligibility: LPTS Students, Faculty, and Staff only
Items Available to request: Physical Circulating Books -- up to 5 per individual
Availability: Requests received prior to noon on Wednesdays (not including holidays or instances where the campus is closed) will be made available for pick up between noon and 5 p.m. Thursdays. Requests will be filled on a first come first serve basis and may be limited by demand and/or availability.
Procedure: Eligible participants should use the Contactless Book Borrowing Request Form to initiate requests.
Follow instructions in confirmation email to pick up pre-checked out items outside the front door of the library.
NOTE: Only those who display an active LPTS Library Card will be allowed to pick up books. Seminary ID with library barcode on back must be shown at window by the front door. Those picking up materials must wear a mask covering their mouth and nose.
RETURNING BOOKS: For safety purposes, returned books cannot be accepted by library staff. Please put them in the Book Drop outside the main doors of the EM White Library.
Scanning Services
Start Date: 11/2/20
Eligibility: LPTS Students, Faculty, and Staff only

- Book chapter
- Journal Article (if available in print collection)
- Reference book entry
Availability: Requests received prior to noon on Wednesdays (not including holidays or instances where the campus is closed) will be scanned and emailed by the end of the day on Thursday. Requests will be filled on a first come first serve basis and may be limited by demand and/or availability.
Procedure: Eligible Participants should complete the Scan Request form to initiate a request.
