JTerm 2021 - Hours and Library Services

24/7 remote access to Research Databases,  Course Etextbooks, Ebooks, and more continues.

January 4 - January 24: M - Th. 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Fri: 8:30 am - 12 noon. Sat and Sunday - Closed. 

• The building and its print collections remain closed. 
• Librarians are ready to help via the Online Help Desk for Ask a Librarian / Live Chat / Ready Reference (e.g. help search a database, find an information resource, help narrow a search), Research Consultation, Library Instruction, and more. 
• Other Library Services: Access Course ETextbooks |  Request Print Book(s) - Contact less book borrowing | Request to Borrow A Laptop/ MacBook | Request Contactless Scanning

January 25 - January 31: M - Th. 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. F - 8:30 am - 12 noon. Sat and Sunday - Closed.

• The building and its print collections will remain closed with one exception. 
• The Reference Room will be open by appointment to LPTS community only, with 24 hours advance notice. Priority will be given to students taking the PC (USA) Exegesis/Senior Ordination Exams.  Request Reference Room Use.
• Librarians available M, Tu - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, W, Th 8:30 am - 7:00 pm, F - 8:30 am - 12 noon via the Online Help Desk for Ask a Librarian Live Chat Ready Reference (e.g. help search a database, find an information resource, help narrow a search), Research Consultation, Library Instruction, and more.

JTerm 2021 ETextbooks

The JTerm Courses Etextbooks are now available for on campus and remote access. When you click on the link for the etextbook/ebook once in the lists, you will be prompted to login, if you are off campus. 

3 different ways to access JTerm 2021ebooks and etextbooks:

1. Google Sheets: JTerm Courses ETextbooks - Arranged by faculty name, one per sheet. 

2. Course Reserves: JTerm Courses in Morgan, the Library Catalog - Arranged by course name.

Required and recommended titles for courses have been purchased when available (i.e. when the publisher has made it available in ebook, i.e. digital format).  Titles that are not available in digital format are noted. The above two lists do not include scanned course readings such as book chapters and journal articles. 

3. CAMs for Faculty login | CAMS for Student Login - CAMs is the definitive repository for all course readings - etextbooks, ebooks, book chapters, journal articles, etc. The links to ebooks have been input into your CAMS courses. All course readings will be available for access by Dec. 18, if not already so.
