Dear LPTS Community,
I am delighted to bring you great news! I think of them as #FridayFreebies and #FunFriday 😊.
Publishers and vendors are opening up access to previously restricted/paid materials in the light of this unprecedented situation; students now have free access to some textbooks through 05/25/20 (we found our Research Methods course texts are all available here). There are Bible commentaries from several series, Bible handbooks, and dictionaries, and other resources. Plenty of books on the Black Church, Ethics, and Womanist thought. MFT students will find books on Family Therapy and specific issues like divorce, addiction, and family violence. Access details are given below and attached as an image file on the side.
RedShelf Responds who is bringing this to us has a great email help desk but feel free to email us too if you need at library at lpts dot edu.
Jorge Luis Borges, author of The Library of Babel writes that he has “always imagined that Paradise will be some kind of library.” I invite you to join us in our online Paradise - Facebook @inforesearch and @lptslibrary for good fun and info!
Many blessings for a #FunFriday and thank you for your grace and goodwill. Always Praying for Us for Peace, Joy, Love, and Hope, Anita (on behalf of the Library Team).
