Workaround For Remote Access to Library Databases and Ebook Collections

Happy Wednesday LPTS students and colleagues.

Library staff continue to try to reach out to OCLC our remote access EZProxy hosted product provider on restoring remote access to the library’s electronic resources.

In the meantime, please refer to your email for a workaround to remote access.

The workaround will help you to remote access ATLA Religion, Academic Search, APA PyschInfo, eBooks Collection (this is where ebooks the library owns including recent texts we purchased for fall classes are), ebooks Religion Collection, eBooks Academic Collection, and more to which the library subscribes via the EBSCOHost interface. Use the URL, login credentials, and instructions in email.

IMPORTANT: The remote access provided in this way is for LPTS students, faculty, employees only. Please don’t share or forward this email. Here is the link to the video clip showing the easy steps of remote access workaround plus list of databases: https://youtu.be/EYqGX8cZUvM

I regret the inconvenience caused. Here’s to a smooth rest of the week.

Peace and prayers,

Anita
